Awoo. Hahha. That was just basic koreans. When you watch drama, sometimes they've said it but the different is just this one was a polite version. You should first learn the writing, then read it. After that move to memorising the words a bit by bit. Then, You'll master it. I doesn't have much time to learn it cause i'm still studying, but sometimes i do learn it. It starts three years ago. SO, can we be friend?

Yes, you're are absolutely right.
When you try speak, it's totally different thing.
Differentiating formal and informal speech was easy for me, because my lecturer taught me that & you will understand after watching lots of Korean dramas :)
