Get down at Myeong Dong subway(line 4, exit 3). Go up straight up on the street at the right of Pacific Hotel about 10 minutes, (you'll see Twosome Place on your left) and you'll see the Cable Car Station on your right. It's going to be tiring to climb half of the hill to the cable car station.

코스메로드 (koseumelodeu) which means cosmetic road. This particular shopping street is located in Myeong Dong(명동).

You will find not one but more than 3 branches of Korean cosmetic shops, like Skin Food, The Face Shop, Nature Republic, Etude House, Holika Holika and more!

That's why it's called 코스메로드 (koseumelodeu).

There are many other shops like Codes Combine, H&M, Forever 21, Uniqlo and many more!

Not forgetting there are many mouth-watering street food(떡볶이, 계란빵) and as well as restaurants(불고기, 본죽) in Myeong Dong(명동).

The street gets more livelier at night, as many vendors open their stalls along the road. 

If you have plan to experience Korean cinema, yes, they have CGV cinema in Myeong Dong(명동). 

How to get there?
Take Seoul Subway Line 4 and get down at Myeong Dong station(명동역). and take exit 5,6,7 or 8.
Do not take exit 2 or 3, because you will end up on the opposite side of the road.

Sometimes you hear these sentence in drama, that ends with a '봐'

'봐'  means see, watch when it stands alone.
Example: 영화 봐요 = watch a movie / going to the movies
(yeonghwa bwayo)

When it's combine with words like,  먹어 봐 or 말해 봐

Then '봐' in the end of the sentence, means 'try to do something'
말해 봐 = try say it
(malhae bwa)

먹어 봐요 = try eat it
(meog-eo bwa)
 
해봐  = try to do it
(hae bwa)

거지말 해봐 = try to lie and see (what happens)
(geojimal haebwa)

It can also mean 'haven't try something' 
안 가봤어요 = I haven't been there
(an gabwass-eoyo)

안 먹어 봤어요 = I haven't eat it before

These are the few Korean phrases/sentence that you must know in your fangirling life. Usually, fan girls call their idol/bias as 오빠(oppa), which literally means elder brother, Koreans girls usually call their boyfriends,오빠 too. It's somehow more polite and respectful.

Here's are some of the beautiful and amazing non-tourist spots in Korea, that you could visit.

1. Rail Bike / Pedal Bike, Chun Cheon

Also known as Jeongseon Auraji Rail Bike, it costs 22000 won for a 2 person vehicle and 32000 for a 4 person vehicle.

Two years ago, the aging train tracks of Gyeongchun Railway Line were retired, but they have since been re-opened as a rail bike tourist attraction.The pedal bikes travel on old railway tracks, where visitors can leisurely enjoy peaceful rural areas filled with beautiful scenic views of waterways and mountains. credit: Airang News

Tourist are able to peddle bike and at the same time enjoy the refreshing air and picturesque view. The Han River is right next to the railway track and the rocky cliff on the left of the railway track.

2. Dak Gal Bi (닭갈비), Chun Cheon
 Dak Gal Bi is a famous dish in Korea, which is made out of grilled chicken, vegetable and topped with Go Chu Jang sauce. All the ingredients are then stir fried to perfection. Dak Gal Bi was originally from Chun Cheon. So it's a must-eat-food when you are in Chun Cheon.



3. Jade Garden, 제이드가든, Chun Cheon
This beautiful relaxing garden is located also located at Chun Cheon. This arboretum has the concept of "small Europe in a forest". The entrance fees is 8000 won. The best season to enjoy this refreshing arboretum? I would say spring, when the flowers are blooming beautifully. This garden had been filming location for several movies and drama.

4.Konjiam Resort Arboretum, 곤지암CC리조트, Gyeonggi-do

The arboretum is home to about 20 themed gardens, a monorail, and a visitors center and is part of the larger Konjiam Resort, a year-round resort complete with a ski resort, condominiums, a spa, and an outdoor swimming pool. credit : visitkorea.or.kr

The entrance fees is fairly reasonable and you're able to enjoy the fresh and relaxing air of the arboretum. If you're there during the winter, Konjiam Resort has a skiing resort as well.
